Donate to Winter Lighting

Each holiday season, hundreds of thousands of LED lights adorn the boulevard trees along Burnsville Parkway, Nicollet Avenue (and Nicollet Commons Park), and Travelers Trail in Burnsville's Heart of the City district. Over 300 individuals and businesses contribute to the annual event to make it possible.

On Thanksgiving eve, hundreds of Burnsville residents gather in Nicollet Commons Park for music, cookies and hot cocoa, and a chance to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, and to watch the "flipping of the switch" that illuminates the city for the winter season. 

Winter lighting sponsors are prominently displayed on the winter lighting invitation and billboard sign located at Nicollet Commons Park. Sponsors will also see their name on Burnsville Community Television (BCTV channel 16).
